About the role

Lanier Technical College seeks a full‑time, benefit‑eligible Anatomy and Physiology Instructor for its Hall County Campus in Gainesville, GA. The position reports to the Dean of General Education and offers a salary in the upper $60,000 range, depending on education and experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop program and course outlines, goals, and objectives for credited Anatomy & Physiology courses.
• Prepare lesson plans, deliver classroom instruction, and evaluate student progress.
• Maintain required documentation, administrative reports, and ensure safety in the training area.
• Participate in student recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Biology or a related medical field, or a Doctor of Medicine/Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
• Minimum of 18 graduate semester hours of subject‑related coursework if holding a master’s without a full degree.
• Ability to work flexible hours, supervise diverse students, and handle administrative responsibilities for accreditation reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong oral and written communication for students at various competency levels.
• Ability to develop and evaluate lesson plans and select appropriate textbooks.
