Alumni Engagement Manager

About the role

DREAM is seeking a relationship‑driven Alumni Engagement Manager to strengthen lifelong connections between the organization and its alumni. The role will create volunteer, mentorship, ambassador, and donor opportunities while overseeing communications, events, and fundraising initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an alumni engagement plan with clear annual goals.
• Build relationships with alumni across programs, regions, and generations, creating opportunities for volunteering, mentoring, speaking, and giving.
• Plan and manage alumni events—including regional gatherings, reunions, and virtual programs—handling promotion, logistics, budgets, and follow‑up.
• Produce alumni communications such as newsletters, event invitations, updates, and fundraising appeals.
• Maintain accurate alumni records in donor and relationship‑management systems and generate reports to evaluate engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–5 years of experience in alumni relations, fundraising, development, communications, events, or community engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with diverse individuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Required skills

• Experience with donor databases and CRM systems.
• Proficiency in email platforms and spreadsheet tools.
• Basic reporting and data‑management abilities.

What we offer

• Salary range $50,000–$70,000 annually, based on experience.
