Aerospace/Aircraft QC Inspector

About the role

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) seeks an Aerospace QC Inspector to perform inspection duties across initial, composite, and final phase manufacturing, ensuring aircraft parts and assemblies meet design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preliminary, progressive, and final inspections of aircraft structures and systems using engineering drawings, work orders, and QA procedures.
• Conduct conformity/first‑article inspections, verify manufacturing steps, and document findings.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel and lead continuous‑improvement activities.
• Ensure proper use and storage of tools, maintain safety standards, and participate in safety investigations.

Required profile

• High School diploma/GED with at least 1 year of quality inspection or 2 years of aircraft manufacturing experience (up to 5 years preferred).
• Valid driver’s license may be required; participation in DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program may be required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Required skills

• CATIA or blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Shop mathematics.
• Competence with basic shop tools and equipment.

• Hourly pay $32.19–$36.05.
