About the role

Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) seeks an Aircraft Cabinet Finisher to prepare and apply finishes to aircraft furniture, ensuring high safety, quality, and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and finish aircraft furniture using specifications, engineering drawings, and appropriate tools.
• Apply finishes with spray equipment and manual methods, perform repairs, and ensure interior protection (PTP).
• Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign‑off work.
• Participate in safety, 5S, and housekeeping practices and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High School diploma/GED; entry‑level to 4 years experience in woodworking, wood finishing, auto body painting, or cabinetmaking.
• Valid driver’s license may be required; ability to work ladders, lift up to 40 lb, and read/write English.

Required skills

• Woodworking and wood‑finishing techniques.
• Use of spray equipment, sandpaper, polishes, adhesives, solvents, masking mediums, and power tools.
• Familiarity with material tracking systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Six‑Sigma and 5S process‑improvement methods.

• Hourly pay $23.32–$33.81 based on experience.
