About the role

The Adult Education Instructional Aide supports the Career Plus High School Diploma and E‑Campus programs at West Georgia Technical College. This part‑time position assists students with enrollment, assessments, technical issues, and program navigation, helping them achieve their educational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Process and assist students registering for Career Plus High School Diploma or online adult‑education classes.
• Review applicant data and assessment results to determine program eligibility.
• Contact qualified students to collect required records, verify admissions documentation, and discuss program options.
• Administer and proctor student assessments and high‑school equivalency practice tests in person and virtually.
• Provide technical support for online learners, including account access, login issues, and platform navigation.
• Enter and maintain student data in program databases.
• Assist with recruitment and retention activities.
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and assigned training programs.
