Account Manager

About the role

The Customer Account Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting operational performance within Eaton’s IS AER FED division. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role serves as the primary liaison for assigned customers, overseeing order management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers, preparing communications, arranging visits, and conducting weekly reviews.
• Manage the end‑to‑end order process, partnering with the Global Supply Chain CoE to ensure accurate quotations, timely order entry, and proactive status updates.
• Maintain customer performance scorecards, resolve variances, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Identify and communicate escalations, providing guidance to cross‑functional teams on Eaton processes and systems.
• Collaborate with contracts, pricing, sales, and accounts receivable to monitor contract compliance, resolve invoice disputes, and address customer claims.
• Maintain accurate customer portal data and drive process improvements.
• Lead customer service activities for new program development, ensuring requirements are captured and executed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR High School diploma/GED with at least two years of manufacturing experience.
• Residency within 50 miles of Jackson, MI.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• U.S. person status for access to export‑controlled information.
• No relocation assistance provided.
