Account Manager – Growth & Territory Segment

About the role

AVEVA is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth in the Growth and Territory segment. Based in Houston, this hybrid role focuses on acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts for AVEVA’s industrial data platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage new customers, securing new logos and expanding market presence.
• Develop and nurture relationships with existing accounts to drive upsell and cross‑sell, increasing ARR.
• Create and execute detailed account plans, from prospecting to closing deals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and leverage cross‑functional resources to meet sales targets.
• Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations that highlight AVEVA’s technology value.
• Proactively resolve customer issues in partnership with internal teams.
• Manage pipeline and forecasts using Salesforce and the MEDDPICC methodology.

Required profile

• Proven track record in direct sales and relationship building at all client levels.
• Experience selling SaaS or Data‑as‑a‑Service solutions.
• Strong business development background with a focus on new customer acquisition.
• Demonstrated ability to close complex software agreements and own the full sales cycle.
• Experience in industrial, engineering, or automation software is highly desirable.
