Account Manager – Cloud Platform

About the role

Render is looking for a foundational Account Manager to build and nurture relationships with our fastest‑growing customers. You will act as the primary business owner for a portfolio of high‑potential accounts, ensuring they achieve their business objectives on our platform.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a book of ~300 commercial accounts using a programmatic engagement model, delivering consistent value at scale.
• Build and run scalable programs that drive adoption and expansion, such as onboarding journeys, product education series, webinars, and targeted nurture motions.
• Identify and prioritize accounts for higher‑touch interventions using health signals and usage data, mitigating churn risks.
• Own contracting motions across the portfolio, including renewals, annualization, and expansion deals.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, Support, Sales, RevOps, and Legal to surface insights and influence improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a customer‑facing role such as Account Management or Customer Success, preferably in cloud infrastructure or developer tooling.
• Commercial mindset with a track record of managing renewals, expansion opportunities, and contract negotiations.
• Strategic thinker who can connect technical challenges to business goals.
• Strong rapport‑building skills with stakeholders from senior engineers to C‑level executives.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and shaping new processes.

Required skills

• Experience using product usage data or analytics to assess customer health.
• Familiarity with product‑led growth (PLG) environments.
• Understanding of cloud platform solutions and hyperscalers.
