Account Executive – CONNECT Platform

About the role

The CONNECT Platform Account Executive, Americas, is a senior commercial position responsible for driving growth of AVEVA’s strategic CONNECT platform across key enterprise accounts. Reporting to the Director of CONNECT Platform Commercial Strategy, you will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, focusing on SaaS/Cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate pipeline, progress opportunities and achieve ARR targets for a portfolio of target accounts.
• Identify and qualify use‑case‑driven opportunities using a consultative, MEDDPICC‑informed sales process.
• Develop value propositions and business cases that link CONNECT capabilities to measurable customer outcomes.
• Engage technical and senior business stakeholders (VP+ level) to build buying coalitions and close new SaaS/Cloud platform deals.
• Negotiate commercial terms aligned with value delivered and strategic fit.
• Capture customer insights to improve product‑market fit and inform GTM messaging.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, customer success, partnerships, sales enablement and regional sales teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS or Cloud software sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
• Proven ability to close complex enterprise deals and drive land‑and‑expand strategies.
• Experience engaging both technical stakeholders and senior business decision‑makers.
• Self‑starter who can operate autonomously and influence cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales tools.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled sales productivity tools.
