Account Activation Specialist – Convenience

About the role

The Account Activation Specialist supports Breakthru Beverage’s growth by sourcing, evaluating, onboarding and activating new account opportunities in Miami‑Dade County. This full‑time position focuses on executing go‑to‑market initiatives, building distributor relationships and driving distribution growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of Breakthru’s go‑to‑market strategy, including opening new accounts and implementing consumer engagement tactics.
• Activate new accounts by selling priority SKUs, managing merchandising, cold‑box setup and coordinating with IT and Credit for timely account set‑up.
• Act as liaison during the transition to the assigned sales team and punch orders for new accounts.
• Manage promotional spending through Trade Development and organize tastings and sales pitches for on‑premise accounts.
• Facilitate sourcing, tagging and engagement of new accounts using a unified Breakthru approach.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business planning.
• Proficient PC skills with MS Office and presentation software.
• Results‑oriented with strong verbal and written communication, diplomacy and customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask, work independently or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
• Analytic, reporting, judgment and problem‑solving skills; comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
