About the role
Offit Kurman, an Am Law 200 firm, is looking for a senior commercial litigation attorney to join and help grow its Los Angeles office. The role involves leading high‑exposure commercial disputes from inception through resolution.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as first chair in commercial litigation matters, including trial.
- Handle complex business disputes in state and federal court, overseeing hearings, dispositive motions, discovery strategy, and trial preparation.
- Supervise and mentor associates while contributing to the growth of the firm’s California litigation practice.
Required profile
- Significant first‑chair trial experience in commercial litigation.
- Demonstrated courtroom experience in state and/or federal courts.
- Strong motion practice and case management skills.
- Ability to independently manage matters from inception through resolution.
