Technical Ex-Founder for Founders Initiatives

About the role

Retell AI is looking for a Technical Ex-Founder to join the Founders Initiatives team, a cross‑functional group that works directly with the company’s founders on high‑priority challenges. You will design and implement AI‑powered systems that support hiring, sales, operations, and scaling across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Build production‑grade AI workflows, automations, and agent systems for HR, security, compliance, and operational infrastructure.
• Integrate with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, GoHighLevel) and automation tools (Zapier, n8n, Make) to streamline processes.
• Develop LLM‑powered solutions using OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, and other models for recruiting, customer onboarding, and growth automation.
• Design and maintain API‑based integrations that connect internal systems across the company.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience and at least 1 year in a startup environment.
• Founder‑mindset with high ownership, ability to work across product, engineering, and operations.
• Comfortable with fast iteration, ambiguity, and building systems over narrow tasks.

Required skills

• Strong backend, full‑stack, or systems engineering skills.
• Hands‑on experience building production LLM or AI agent solutions.
• Experience with CRM and automation platforms: Salesforce, HubSpot, Zapier, n8n, Make.
• Proficiency in designing API integrations and workflow automation.
