Software Engineer – Platform

About the role

Rogo is looking for a Platform Engineer to define and lead the technical direction of its Kubernetes‑based platform as the company scales rapidly. This hands‑on role focuses on architecture, reliability, and developer experience for enterprise‑grade workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure solutions on a Kubernetes platform for enterprise customers.
• Define reliability initiatives such as SLOs, capacity planning, and resilience improvements.
• Build internal platform systems (deployments, environments, developer tooling) and improve observability and operational workflows.
• Provide guardrails and self‑serve tooling to accelerate product engineers while maintaining high reliability.

Required profile

• Extensive production‑grade Kubernetes scaling experience, from early‑stage to critical workloads.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems trade‑offs and a strong systems mindset.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and taking ownership of broad company impact.
• Bonus: experience with single‑tenant architectures, financial services, or regulated environments.
