Skilled Laborer

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Skilled Laborer to support craft workers on construction sites. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment while performing a variety of physical tasks that keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and complete required safety documentation.
• Signal equipment operators to align, move, and adjust machinery for loading, unloading, pushing, and pulling.
• Level earth to fine‑grade specifications using shovels or hand tools.
• Mix and pour concrete or grout, then smooth and finish surfaces with floats, trowels, or screeds.
• Install, join, and align pumps, motors, and other mechanical components.
• Apply paints, bituminous compounds, caulking, and other protective coatings.
• Operate abrasive tools to grind, sand, or polish concrete and steel.
• Torque bolts, assemble metal parts, saw lumber, dismantle forms, and operate jackhammers.
• Maintain and care for assigned tools and equipment.
• Travel to multiple job sites on short notice as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with 6‑12 months of construction experience (or equivalent training).
• Commitment to safety and ability to read safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Basic math skills for measurements, weight, volume, force, pressure, and torque.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions precisely.
