Construction Laborer

About the role

The Construction Laborer will perform a variety of physical tasks on job sites, helping to keep the site clean, safe, and efficient. You will support the overall project by handling materials, operating hand tools, and assisting skilled trades as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and follow all company safety policies and complete required safety documentation.
• Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel using picks or shovels.
• Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
• Mix, pour, and place concrete, gravel, and other materials with hand tools.
• Join, wrap, and seal pipe sections; perform form removal and caulking of expansion joints.
• Operate cutting torches, jackhammers, and assist with demolition and culvert placement.
• Travel to different job sites on short notice and provide general site assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or up to three months of related construction experience.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic arithmetic skills for measurements and volume calculations.
• Commitment to personal and team safety, aligning with zero‑injury principles.
