RN – In‑House Agency – Trauma (MedSurg) Unit – Kings Hwy – PRN

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our In‑House Agency on the Trauma (MedSurg) unit at Kings Highway. This PRN position is a 12‑week assignment supporting high‑acuity patient care in Shreveport, Louisiana. The RN will deliver care using the Nursing Process and uphold professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Adapt communication and care approach to respect patient privacy, cultural, ethnic and religious diversity.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families and interdisciplinary team members.
• Delegate, coordinate and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Use data and evidence‑based information to drive improvements and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current state RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and sound judgement.
• Proficiency with computers, software and web‑based applications.
