Interventional Radiologist – Full‑Time Academic Physician

About the role

Ochsner Health and LSU Health Shreveport are seeking a full‑time board‑certified/board‑eligible Interventional Radiologist who is fellowship trained in vascular and interventional radiology. The position combines patient care with academic teaching in a well‑established, collegial radiology department.

Key responsibilities

• Perform the full spectrum of interventional radiology procedures, including vascular interventions.
• Provide teaching and mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Offer leadership and guidance within the IR integrated residency program.
• Participate in research and scholarly activities as part of the health sciences center.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Interventional Radiology.
• Fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology.
• Commitment to academic teaching and mentorship.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in vascular and interventional radiology techniques.
• Experience using the EPIC electronic medical record system.
