About the role
The Resident Services Coordinator supports prospective and current tenants while enhancing the community experience at Park Newport. This onsite role blends customer service, property operations, and event coordination to ensure a high‑quality living environment.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome new residents, assist with utility setup, and manage package deliveries and claim reminders.
- Develop and publish the property newsletter featuring upcoming events, resident services, and advertisements.
- Address resident concerns such as neighbor disputes, maintenance requests, and general inquiries, and prepare incident reports as needed.
- Schedule clubhouse and activity‑center rentals, maintain contracts, collect fees, and ensure guest suites are ready for use.
- Coordinate additional resident amenities like movie rentals, books, and games.
- Process maintenance work orders, follow up with residents for satisfaction, and compile weekly maintenance reports.
- Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness, reporting repair needs to maintenance staff.
- Provide weekend coverage (9 am–6 pm) and adapt schedule to business needs.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of resident services or customer‑service experience, preferably on a large property.
- Strong knowledge of property operations and community‑building activities.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and handle physical demands of the role.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Yardi property‑management software.
