Senior Analyst – Asset Management

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its Asset Management team in Newport Beach. You will help drive financial and operational performance across a large portfolio of multifamily properties by analyzing market trends and operational results.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with acquisitions, operations, portfolio management, capital projects, and accounting teams to improve investment performance.
• Build detailed pro‑formae and Excel‑based financial models to evaluate assets.
• Collect and analyze market data, identify trends, and produce narrative memoranda and reports.
• Support investment committee memos, financing, disposition recommendations, and asset updates.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, equity partners, lenders, and regional property managers.
• Assist in the disposition process, including broker coordination and due‑diligence.
• Perform valuation analysis and present recommendations that affect asset returns.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to synthesize operational results and market data.
• Experience collaborating across multiple functional teams.
• Effective written and verbal communication for reports and stakeholder updates.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial modeling.
