Remote Customer Support – Higher Education (Seasonal)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Customer Support Representatives to join a leading educational services provider on a seasonal basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on assisting students, parents, and faculty through inbound calls and emails.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and respond to email inquiries from the higher‑education community.
• Provide accurate information about textbooks, course materials, campus bookstore services, and branded retail solutions.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues and guide users through simple solutions.
• Document interactions in Zendesk and manage multiple support applications simultaneously.
• Adhere to a flexible schedule, including a minimum of 8 hours on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑support or call‑center environment.
• Tech‑savvy problem‑solver with a passion for service.
• Detail‑oriented multitasker able to handle several applications without error.
• Willingness to install ModSquad security software, a 2FA app, and client admin tools.
• Access to a webcam or smartphone for photo verification and a wired internet connection of at least 50 Mbps.

Required skills

• Experience with Zendesk (highly preferred).
