Release Train Engineer – Charlotte, NC

About the role

Infosys Financial Services, a global leader in digital transformation for banks, wealth managers and insurers, is seeking a Release Train Engineer for its Charlotte, NC delivery hub. The role will support AI‑driven solutions and cloud‑based initiatives, acting as the central coordinator for Agile Release Trains within a SAFe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project timelines, proactively identifying resource gaps to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating regular meetings, milestone reviews and clear communication.
• Guide technical teams through SDLC processes, guaranteeing that deliverables meet client specifications.
• Monitor project deliverables across all phases, ensuring quality standards and stakeholder expectations are met.
• Assist in creating and managing project budgets aligned with scope and strategic objectives.
• Identify scope changes and new client requests, support effort estimation, obtain approvals and secure sign‑offs.

Required skills

• Experience leading Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in a SAFe framework.
• Facilitation of Program Increment (PI) Planning.
• Knowledge of Configuration Management and Release Management.
• Understanding of Development Methodology, Scrum and Infosys Global Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
