Registered Nurse – Night Shift (Part‑Time)

About the role

Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a Registered Nurse working the night shift in a part‑time capacity. You will provide professional nursing care to designated patients, collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with facility policies.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, team members, patients and families to resolve needs.
• Participate in evidence‑based practice, quality improvement and research projects.
• Provide patient and family education throughout the treatment course.
• Teach, mentor and precept new colleagues and interns as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and deliver patient care assignments.
• Successful completion of orientation programs and maintenance of unit‑specific competencies.
• Physical ability to lift/carry 40‑50 lb and stand/walk for long periods.

Required skills

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification (upon hire).
• Basic computer skills for documentation and technology use.
• Proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis and care planning.
