About the role
We are looking for a professional and highly organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, clients and employees at our corporate office in New York. The role combines front‑desk duties with administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast‑paced luxury retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
- Provide general information and assistance to visitors, clients and staff.
- Manage incoming calls, screen and direct them to the appropriate contacts.
- Process guest and client registrations using the building’s management system.
- Maintain accurate records of outgoing appraisals and receipts.
- Coordinate vendor arrivals and communicate jewelry drop‑offs to the Merchandise Department.
- Keep the front‑desk area, pantry, kitchen and common spaces clean and organized.
- Monitor office supply inventory, place orders for pantry and equipment, and submit replenishment requests.
- Support internal teams (IT, Facilities, HR, etc.) to ensure efficient office operations.
- Submit corporate‑card expense reports in Concur.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in a receptionist, front‑desk or customer‑service role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional, polished and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) or similar software.
- Experience with expense‑reporting systems such as Concur.
