Quality Engineer II

About the role

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineer II to join its Fire Safety & Power Systems Division in Milwaukie, OR. In this site‑level position you will help ensure that aerospace products meet the highest quality standards through testing, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret customer, regulatory and Parker PQP requirements and translate them into site‑level quality plans, controls, and acceptance criteria.
• Deploy and govern PQP tools, evaluate their effectiveness, and drive corrective actions for any gaps.
• Create or update FMEAs, Control Plans, Work Instructions and related documentation under guidance.
• Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities such as gauge R&R and support calibration compliance.
• Audit inspection reporting, drive improvements, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Execute hands‑on test plans, support light automation, and analyze test data to identify defects and root causes.

Required profile

• Experience working in a regulated aerospace or high‑technology manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting procedures and presenting findings.
