Principal Software Engineer – Python

About the role

As a Principal Software Engineer you will be a founding member of a new AI‑driven platform that will transform how life‑sciences companies manage safety, regulatory, and clinical development. You will help shape the codebase and engineering organization from the ground up, working in a fast‑paced, start‑up‑like environment while leveraging AI to boost productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Full feature ownership: design, develop, deploy, support and maintain features, using AI assistance for productivity.
• Drive solutions by collaborating with product management and development on technical design.
• Rapid problem solving: quickly analyze complex problems and deliver robust solutions.
• Develop best practices and mentor engineers on coding standards and AI‑assisted engineering.
• Provide comprehensive code reviews for engineers of all experience levels.
• Strategic mentorship to develop engineering talent.

Required profile

• 12+ years of production‑level Python development experience.
• Extensive background building high‑scale enterprise SaaS cloud applications.
• Proven ability to architect high‑volume products at scale.
• Experience thriving in fast‑paced, start‑up‑like environments.
• Demonstrated mentorship and team‑building skills.
• Strong work ethic, integrity and excellent English communication.
• Unrestricted right to work in the United States.
