Senior Data Migration Consultant

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Data Migration Consultant to lead migration implementations for life‑science customers using Veeva Vault R&D and Vault Platform solutions. The role combines technical expertise in data and document migration with customer‑facing consulting to ensure successful transitions from legacy systems.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject‑matter expertise on Vault R&D migration, including document content and object data migration.
• Advise customers on the extract, transform, and load (ETL) process.
• Mentor Veeva Data Migration Specialists on best practices.
• Contribute to the Professional Services knowledge base and migration program.
• Guide migration tool development for ETL processes.
• Assist in project scoping estimates for the Vault R&D product suite.

Required profile

• 7+ years of document/content migration experience with enterprise content management systems.
• 7+ years of implementation, data migration or integration consulting for enterprise software.
• 7+ years of customer‑facing technical consulting experience.
• Advanced skills with SQL and databases.
• Advanced skills with Python, Java and REST APIs.
• Proven track record presenting to senior management and executives.
• Experience leading and mentoring team members.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada.
