Porter – Dumbo, NYC

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Porter to join the Time Out Market team in Dumbo, Brooklyn. The role ensures that all seating areas, concessions and restrooms remain clean, safe and ready for guests throughout the day.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of communal tables, kiosk counters, bar tables and outdoor patios.
• Clear guest trays, transport plateware, silverware, glassware and trays to the dish‑wash area regularly.
• Restock concessions with necessary plateware, silverware, napkins and trays.
• Sweep foot‑traffic areas on schedule and as needed.
• Monitor and clean restrooms, replenish supplies and address spills promptly, displaying wet‑floor signs.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, following proper lifting techniques and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum age 21 and eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume hospitality environment.
• Strong teamwork, organization and composure under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hospitality, restaurant and bar operations.
• Understanding of sanitation and safety standards.
• Proper lifting techniques.
