About the role

The Porter supports the smooth operation of Time Out Market by maintaining cleanliness, handling table turnover, and ensuring guests have the supplies they need. This fast‑paced, on‑site role is essential for delivering a high‑quality dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Keep all seating areas—including communal tables, kiosk counters, bar tables and outdoor patios—clean and ready for guests.
• Monitor guest trays, clear contents promptly, and clean tables or countertops for reuse.
• Transport plateware, silverware, glassware and trays to the dish‑wash area regularly.
• Stock concessions with necessary plateware, silverware, napkins and trays.
• Maintain tidiness of foot‑flow areas around tables, concessions and bars; sweep on schedule and as needed.
• Check restrooms for cleanliness and replenish supplies regularly.
• Address spills immediately, alert a manager, and display a caution sign while cleaning.

Required profile

• Must be 21 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Positive attitude, composure, and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Sanitation and safety awareness.
• Ability to read computer monitors and print legibly for guests.
