Pipeline/Pump Station Project Manager

About the role

HDR Engineering is seeking a Pipeline/Pump Station Project Manager to lead engineering projects in its Dallas, Texas office. The role focuses on delivering water infrastructure solutions, including pipelines and pump stations, that support public health, environmental sustainability, and community resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships, emphasizing HDR’s expertise in pump stations and pipelines.
• Direct and coordinate single‑discipline or multidisciplinary teams throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation to close‑out.
• Manage all aspects of complex small‑to‑medium projects and routine large projects, delivering multiple projects concurrently.
• Lead marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings and conduct work sessions with staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Track project financials, adjusting effort to stay within agreed‑to budget and schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing small‑to‑medium or large water‑related engineering projects.
• Ability to interface with clients and represent HDR’s technical credentials.
• Strong organizational skills to oversee multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
