People & Culture Manager - Pre-Opening Club

About the role

Paris Society is developing a new private members club in Key Biscayne, Miami, set to open in Spring 2027, and is seeking a People & Culture Manager to join its pre-opening team. As a member of the property's leadership team, the manager will build the employee experience from the ground up, leading recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance management, learning and development and compliance, and supporting the launch of a team of about 220 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director and department leaders to develop and execute the property's People & Culture strategy.
• Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning to attract hospitality talent during pre-opening and beyond.
• Create an onboarding experience that reflects the Paris Society brand and culture.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, recognition and wellbeing initiatives.
• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management and talent development.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and company policies.
• Oversee payroll, benefits administration, HR systems and personnel records.
• Lead and develop the People & Culture Coordinator and build a high-performing People & Culture function.
• Champion an inclusive, collaborative, service-driven workplace culture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive HR or People & Culture leadership experience in hospitality, luxury lifestyle, hotel, club, restaurant or similar service-driven environments.
• Previous pre-opening experience strongly preferred.
• Proven success leading full-cycle recruitment and high-volume hiring.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
