About the role

The part‑time Food Preparation Specialist/Café Manager will staff the Nashville campus café, delivering excellent customer service while preparing and serving food. This role includes handling cash transactions, maintaining a clean environment, and completing daily financial reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and take customer orders.
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and perform daily cash reconciliation.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food items while adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized café area and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with the public.
• Ability to prepare and serve food while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions.
• Organizational skills, dependable attendance, and ability to work independently.
