Part-time Family Literacy Coordinator

About the role

Lanier Technical College is seeking a part‑time Family Literacy Coordinator to support its Adult Education department. Working under the Dean of Adult Education, you will help implement and supervise the college’s family literacy programs across multiple counties.

Key responsibilities

• Print and analyze local and state reports, informing the Dean of trends.
• Supervise data entry into the LACES system, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Serve on the core family‑literacy team and act as a county committee member for each program site.
• Coordinate communication with participants, county committees, and the core team.
• Set up and transition leadership for Parent Time and PACT Time activities.
• Audit program compliance through data analysis, site visits, surveys, and evaluations.
• Provide ongoing support to stakeholders, including organizing speakers, setting performance goals, and collecting data.
• Prepare, distribute, and analyze surveys and feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Ability to work under general supervision and collaborate with multiple county committees.
• Strong organizational skills for managing data, reports, and program logistics.
• Excellent written communication for timely updates to participants and staff.
