Adjunct Nurse Aide Instructor – Part‑time

About the role

Lanier Technical College is seeking a part‑time Adjunct Nurse Aide Instructor to deliver both online and classroom instruction across multiple campuses in Georgia. The role focuses on preparing and teaching nursing aide courses, assessing student progress, and supporting the program’s academic standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver course content in accordance with approved syllabi.
• Prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials for each class.
• Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of grades and student files.
• Provide feedback and periodic performance reports to the Program Chair.
• Participate in in‑service training, workshops, and seminars as required.
• Ensure safety and security standards are met in training and laboratory environments.
• Adhere to all deadlines and complete mandatory training requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma in a medical field or health science from a regionally accredited institution.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Valid Georgia Nursing License.
• Demonstrated competency in the specific course content.
• Ability to obtain Georgia Nurse Aide “Train the Trainer” certification within 60 days of hire, if not already held.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform body mechanics as needed.
