About the role

We are seeking an organized Office Assistant to support daily administrative and operational activities at an onsite workplace. The position begins with a two‑week training period (four hours per day) before moving to a full‑time schedule, Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑5 pm.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and provide general administrative assistance.
  • Process inbound and outbound mail, packages, and deliveries while maintaining accurate shipping and receiving records.
  • Organize, stock, and monitor office inventory and supplies.
  • Prepare documents through scanning, filing, and other clerical tasks.
  • Assist with conference and meeting arrangements, including room setup and material coordination.
  • Handle routine logistics for incoming shipments, outgoing packages, and internal distribution.
  • Lift and move boxes and office materials weighing up to 40 pounds.

Required profile

  • At least 2 years of office support, administrative, or clerical experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage receptionist‑style duties such as answering calls and assisting visitors.
  • Experience with document scanning, record handling, and office organization.
  • Familiarity with shipping, receiving, mail handling, and basic inventory support.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds.
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and availability to work onsite Monday‑Friday.
