Maintenance Technician – Avana Hamptons

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Avana Hamptons community in Puyallup, Washington. The role involves performing technical and mechanical work to keep the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas clean, safe, and fully functional.

Key responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders generated from resident service requests.
• Perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections and creating punch lists.
• Schedule and coordinate vendors and contractors as needed to address maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities meet Greystar’s standards for appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Required profile

• Ability to follow established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Strong diagnostic skills to identify the source of defects or problems.
• Experience handling work orders and coordinating with external vendors.
