Loan Administrator – Commercial Real Estate Credit

About the role

Safra National Bank of New York is seeking a detail‑oriented Loan Administrator to join its Commercial Real Estate Credit Department at the Assistant Vice President level. The role supports the full lifecycle of commercial real‑estate and residential loan transactions, from documentation review and closing coordination through boarding, servicing, and post‑closing administration.

Key responsibilities

• Review loan documentation for accuracy, completeness and policy compliance.
• Coordinate closing activities and ensure timely funding of CRE and residential loans.
• Manage loan boarding, servicing support, and post‑closing administration.
• Track exceptions, identify discrepancies and escalate issues promptly.
• Maintain loan pipelines in the Encompass system, validating data integrity and coordinating workflow.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in loan administration, mortgage operations, commercial real‑estate or residential lending.
• Hands‑on experience with both CRE and residential loan processes, including documentation review and closing coordination.
• Working knowledge of CRE loan products, collateral documentation, escrow requirements and post‑closing procedures.
• Familiarity with lending regulations, compliance standards and internal control requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple loans in a high‑volume environment.
