Leasing Professional – Flora & Luxe, Chicago

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Flora & Luxe community in Chicago. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect qualification to move‑in, while ensuring a high‑quality resident experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for tours and lease negotiations.
• Detail‑oriented approach to application processing and unit inspections.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
