Onsite Property Management Intern

About the role

Greystar is offering a hands‑on property management internship at its 1225 Old Town site in Chicago. The program is designed for college students who want to explore a career in residential real‑estate operations and gain exposure to multiple on‑site functions.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate through core on‑site roles such as Leasing Professional, Maintenance Supervisor, Community Manager and Resident Property Manager.
• Participate in daily tasks including marketing, financial reporting, community events, and move‑in/out coordination.
• Complete Greystar’s in‑house training modules and become proficient with internal applications.
• Shadow senior staff, assist with financial and administrative projects, and contribute to special cross‑team initiatives.
• Support outreach and promotion activities using the property’s website and social‑media channels.
• Document processes, conduct research, and prepare a final capstone presentation.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a 2‑ or 4‑year college or undergraduate program.
• Strong interest in real‑estate, property management, or related fields.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work collaboratively on‑site.
