Junior DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Cloud

About the role

The Clearing House is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to support CI/CD tooling across on‑premises and AWS environments. You will work closely with developers, quality‑control, and infrastructure teams to build secure, automated pipelines that enable rapid application delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration and deployments.
• Support infrastructure provisioning and configuration management across dev, QA, staging, and production.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Help manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, automation workflows, and deployment processes.
• Participate in initiatives to improve security, scalability, and reliability of systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 1 year of DevOps experience in high‑traffic production environments.
• Basic proficiency with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Fundamental knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Introductory programming skills in Python, Go, or Ruby for automation.
• Understanding of Linux system administration, kernel tuning, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS).
