Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

MoonPay is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen its cloud infrastructure across GCP and AWS. You will join a proactive security team that blends defensive expertise with inquisitive problem‑solving, helping to secure a fast‑growing fintech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security reviews and threat modeling for cloud resources.
• Implement and maintain automated security controls throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.
• Monitor cloud security posture using DataDog and respond to identified risks.
• Secure Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and embed best practices in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Continuously research emerging cloud security threats and recommend mitigations.

Required profile

• Strong background in cloud security, preferably within a fintech or payments environment.
• Proactive defender mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience handling compliance and regulatory considerations in cloud deployments.
