Information Security Analyst – Cyber Defense

About the role

Charter Schools USA is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join its Risk, Audit, and Education (RAE) framework team. The analyst will protect the organization’s digital assets across a multi‑state school environment by applying cyber‑network‑defense techniques and supporting emerging technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity expertise and advisory guidance to multiple departments.
• Lead or contribute to information‑security projects and strategy implementation.
• Manage the Cybersecurity Awareness Training and Education program.
• Make incident‑response decisions and handle security incidents following the CSIR process.
• Maintain situational awareness of cyber threats and act as needed.
• Conduct forensic investigations for HR, Legal, or incident‑response purposes.
• Co‑manage device and cloud security infrastructure, including policy configuration, alert triage, and platform maintenance.
