About the role
The HR Coordinator will support the HR Manager in delivering people‑management processes across the Meliá Orlando Celebration Hotel. This position ensures a positive employee and candidate experience throughout the employee lifecycle and contributes to employer branding, recruitment, and internal mobility initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance to Heads of Department and employees, including guidance, documentation, and reference letters.
- Maintain and update employee communication boards with relevant internal and external information.
- Conduct periodic inspections of employee areas and produce reports with action plans for improvement.
- Support investigations related to employee relations issues in compliance with local labor laws.
- Assist in the management of employee housing, ensuring proper allocation, maintenance, and policy compliance.
- Execute employer branding initiatives and represent the hotel at local school and recruitment events.
- Maintain candidate databases and coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, and interview scheduling.
- Facilitate onboarding documentation to ensure a smooth hiring process.
- Liaise with recruiters across locations, maintaining confidentiality and consistency.
- Promote internal mobility and identify talent opportunities across operations.
- Support corporate social responsibility initiatives related to employer branding.
Required profile
- Experience providing HR support to department heads and employees.
- Knowledge of employee relations investigations and local labor law compliance.
- Familiarity with employee housing administration and related policies.
- Ability to coordinate employer branding activities and represent the hotel at recruitment events.
- Proficiency in maintaining candidate databases and supporting end‑to‑end recruitment processes.
- Strong organizational skills for onboarding documentation and inter‑location liaison.
- Commitment to promoting internal mobility and supporting CSR initiatives.
