About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible physician in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine to join its outpatient primary‑care team in Mandeville, Louisiana.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary‑care services to a diverse patient population.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system with strong support staff.
• Leverage a refill center that manages over 70 % of prescription refills.
• Collaborate with LPN Care Coordinators to close care gaps.
• Participate in Ochsner On‑Call programs to reduce call burden.
• Use remote‑messaging nurses to decrease portal inbox volume.
• Work with Outpatient Care Managers on complex cases and social determinants of health.
• Apply digital‑medicine tools to manage chronic conditions.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, or Med/Psych.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR.
