About the role

The Executive Director / CEO leads the Children’s Advocacy Center in Pasco County, driving the mission to prevent and heal the impacts of child abuse, neglect, and family trauma. This senior executive role blends compassionate leadership with disciplined execution to ensure long‑term financial and operational sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Board of Directors to set and execute strategic direction.
• Oversee financial sustainability, budgeting, grant compliance, and revenue development.
• Ensure high‑quality program delivery and operational performance.
• Lead fundraising, donor cultivation, and community partnership initiatives.
• Manage government relations, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Provide visionary staff leadership, performance management, and organizational change.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, public administration, social work, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7‑10 years of progressive leadership experience in nonprofit, human services, healthcare, child welfare, or similar sectors.
• Proven track record managing budgets, grants, and financial reporting.
• Experience in fundraising, donor engagement, and revenue development.
• Strong public speaking, writing, and stakeholder communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and personal integrity.

• Base salary of $110,000 per year with bonus opportunity.
