E-commerce Logistics Manager

About the role

Nurture Life is seeking a detail‑oriented E‑commerce Logistics Manager to own our shipping systems, order processing, and carrier coordination. You will ensure accurate, timely fulfillment of fresh, ready‑to‑eat meals for babies and kids while supporting the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute carrier network strategies that balance cost efficiency with customer experience.
• Own financial performance of outbound and inbound shipping, track freight spend, analyze cost‑per‑shipment trends, and report against budget.
• Manage and improve the shipping tech stack (OrderBot, Shipium, integrated carrier platforms), configure updates, and act as escalation point for technical issues.
• Design order batching and sortation logic, creating rules for pick lists, labels, and shipment groupings at scale.
• Lead two direct reports, providing coaching, workload management, and performance development.
• Partner with Finance, Customer Experience, and Operations to align shipping strategy with broader business goals.
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards in Google Sheets or Excel to give leadership visibility into KPIs and carrier performance.
• Manage carrier and vendor relationships, conduct performance reviews, and handle contract considerations.
• Develop seasonal capacity plans, forecast volume, and create contingency strategies.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for fulfillment exceptions and drive systemic improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (field not specified).
• Proven experience in e‑commerce logistics or shipping operations.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Leadership experience managing a small team.
