Supply Chain Director

About the role

The Supply Chain Director reports directly to the Vice President of Global Operations and is responsible for shaping the strategic roadmap for demand planning, supply planning, logistics and supplier collaboration across the business unit. The role drives best‑practice implementation, continuous improvement and competitive advantage on a global scale.

Key responsibilities

• Execute strategic and tactical supply initiatives to meet customer and company requirements while optimizing inventory levels.
• Develop and implement a purchasing strategy that identifies gaps, opportunities and actions for the AMS Business Unit.
• Introduce world‑class models and methodologies in demand, supply, logistics and procurement.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for all sourcing and purchasing activities.
• Build and lead a high‑performing global organization through KPI monitoring and cross‑site communication.
• Create and execute a materials and logistics roadmap that improves revenue, cost, cash‑flow and customer experience.
• Lead supply‑chain decision processes and collaborate with the Purchasing area of the S&M business unit.

Required profile

• Proven ability to translate business objectives into actionable strategies.
• Experience building and leading world‑class, multi‑site teams.
• Strong background in Lean Six Sigma and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Senior‑level leadership experience in a global manufacturing or technology environment.
