Director of Finance, Advisory

About the role

Visa is seeking a proactive finance leader to serve as the primary business partner for the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) Advisory Services organization. The Director of Finance, Advisory will drive financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision‑making across consulting, managed services, and emerging advisory solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with LAC Advisory leadership to provide financial insight, support strategic initiatives, and evaluate new offerings, pricing, and go‑to‑market plans.
• Align regional plans with Global Advisory Finance, ensuring consistency with global strategy, financial frameworks, and performance expectations.
• Lead multi‑year strategic planning, annual operating plan, quarterly outlooks, and monthly close processes, delivering variance analysis and driver‑based financial reporting.
• Develop and present financial storytelling and analytics to regional and global senior leadership, translating complex results into clear business implications.
• Monitor performance against targets, identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and collaborate with business leaders to drive profitable growth.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with extensive experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence senior leaders in a highly matrixed, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent executive communication skills, capable of translating financial data into actionable business insights.
• Demonstrated ability to partner across finance, sales, client services, strategy, operations, and product teams.
