About the role

The IVH-C Dietitian supports a comprehensive food service program by interpreting nutritional guidelines, planning menus, and ensuring compliance with standards. This role works within an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality nutrition services.

Key responsibilities

Interpret nutritional guidelines and standard/special dietary requirements.
Plan and prepare modified diets and menus as a clinical dietitian.
Review diet prescriptions, select appropriate menus, and guide non‑professional staff.
Provide guidance on diet prescriptions, enteral feeding tables, and nutritional assessments.
Evaluate the food service program periodically.

Required profile

Four years of college education with coursework in dietetics.
Licensure as a dietitian‑nutritionist by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Ability to work under general supervision and direct non‑professional staff.
