Cyber Technical Operator - Cellular

About the role

CACI is looking for a Technical Operator in Chantilly, VA to support the development of technical solutions that secure mobile infrastructure and establish alternative solutions for resilient cyber operations. The role covers the technical aspects of priority mission requirements, including technical debriefs, cyber operations support and briefings to management, and involves up to 10% travel across the continental United States.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and coordinate formal correspondence on subject matters and technical operations while collaborating with partners
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes and procedures related to technical projects
• Travel CONUS and OCONUS to support mission requirements
• Conduct technical debriefs and brief management as needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field, with at least 7 years of experience in a relevant technical field
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Ability to read and interpret commercial technical design and engineering documentation for cellular mobile core technology
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Desired: Master's degree, 5G and 3GPP LTE expertise, commercial telecommunications experience, field operations experience, and ability to pass sponsor-required training

Required skills

• Understanding of cellular network signaling and cellular air-interface and network equipment
• Knowledge of cellular network data packet flow from edge equipment through the network core to the internet
• Knowledge of routers, switches and other network infrastructure devices used in mobile core enterprise networks
• Desired: computer and network operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS, Citrix), hardware and network management tools, and protocols such as TCP/IP, SMTP, TLS/SSL
