CT Technologist II – Weekend Shift

About the role

The Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a CT Technologist II to work weekend shifts at its Cedar Crest location. The role involves performing high‑quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and supporting radiology staff in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, injectors, and monitors to acquire diagnostic images according to physician orders.
• Review images, repeat scans when necessary, and prepare studies for PACS transmission.
• Administer contrast media per protocol, monitor patients for reactions, and notify physicians of any adverse events.
• Provide patient education, address questions, and maintain confidentiality of PHI.
• Complete technical documentation, perform quality‑control checks, and attend departmental meetings.

Required profile

• Technical School Diploma or accredited Radiography program graduate.
• Less than 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days of hire.
• State of Pennsylvania registration as RT (Radiology Technologist) upon hire; CT certification (ARRT) within 1 year.
